Welcome . . .
Dickinson Narrows, ‘Philadelphia's Newest Old Neighborhood,’
comprises the area from the south side of Washington Avenue
to the north side of Mifflin Street and the west side of 4th
Street to the east side of 6th Street and is perhaps
the most diverse community within the boundaries of Philadelphia.
With an ever growing collection of newly constructed homes
standing side-by-side lovingly restored antique homes (many
predating the civil war), the Narrows has been a vibrant place
to live for generations of South Philadelphians.
Our neighborhood is perfectly situated to meet the needs of
individuals and families that delight in having the convenience of
city living without the congestion associated with “Center City.”
Whether walking or biking, City Hall is less than 30 minutes away.
The neighboring communities of Passyunk Square, with its bustling
restaurants, and the 9th Street Market are just west of
the Narrows and Pennsport and the riverfront along Columbus Boulevard,
with countless retail businesses, are to the east. It's five minutes
to I-95 and 15 minutes by car to Philadelphia International Airport's
Terminal A — enabling you to travel the world right from your doorstep.
Dickinson Narrows Named 2nd "Hottest" Neighborhood in the Entire Nation
...real estate site Redfin has high hopes for this pocket of the city,
ranking it only behind San Diego's El Cerrito neighborhood on their "Hottest
Neighborhoods of 2015" list.
...home buyers are now seeking "value"—with an emphasis on
affordability and convenience—when hunting for a new home.

The Mountain Of South Philly
Known to most people as "That Big Abandoned Hospital," Mt. Sinai is the
Divine Lorraine of South Philadelphia. This massive medical fortress was and
still is the biggest and baddest building in Pennsport. Surrounded by and
connected to a complex of smaller buildings old and new, the Mount Sinai
Hospital, though stifled, manages to get its Art Deco amazingness to show
through. Looming over its neighborhood for almost a century, Mt. Sinai
Hospital isn’t part of the South Philadelphia Skyline, it IS the South
Philadelphia Skyline.
